Ok, getting down to business.
Talkingcock.com is seriously a cocked up site, literally. In my opinion, I think the website does not serve any help to the public or anyone reading it.
Its just purely an entertainment site containing real life issues /news which have been edited or drastically changed into something that is supposed to be funny. One way or another, its been on the net for 8 years or so and its being read by Singaporeans. I realize that there is nothing much to analyze about the site but the fact that it contains lots of things from political to business news both locally and internationally. However, I must agree that some of the posts in the site are rather humorous.

This video is pretty funny, though it is vulgar and it is certainly not appropriate for young children.
If I were to be a foreigner visiting Talkingcock.com, I would think that the site is probably a waste of time. Besides, it is not really that funny or enjoyable to be "insulting" or criticizing the government( in talkingcock. com terms: Gahmen). Seriously, using words like Gahmen and chewren are just ways to make our English su-ck even more! ( Like its not worse enough!)
The non- Singaporeans reading the posts would definitely not know what chewren meant unless they click on the 'Related Singlish Words' link.
WIKI
Anyways, we were told by our tutor to create a Wiki space on UIR-Rawk.wetpaint.
It is a site where we are suppose to post our choice of topic, in my case, Drug / Alcohol Abuse on Youths and we needed to talk about it. I posted my views and opinions along with information and pictures courtesy of the Internet.
I must say, Wiki space is really an enriching site as it allows one to read other individuals opinions and point of views on various topics. It has definitely given me a broader perspective and I have also learnt some new things by reading the entries of my other classmates. The entries are interesting!
Oh, and the site allows you to join other Wiki spaces and I joined the Supernatural Fan Wiki as I love watching the TVshow, Supernatural.
The two guys acting in it (Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles), they're gorgeous! HAHAHA!
