All Roads Lead to Rome!
ROME it is!
My definite ideal Holiday Destination! It is one of the countries which is in my list of "Places to Visit Before I Die"!
To make things clearer, Rome = Bee - autiful!!!!! Seriously, just by taking one look at the Street pictures you find in the net on Rome, its just simply amazing.
The country's streets and roads are so vintage,old-fashioned and classy looking( i could go on describing..), imagine the attractions! Gee! I am pretty sure I'll faint when I lay my foot down in most beautiful country ever, Rome.
In Rome, Italy, one is sure to find countless numbers of old, dilapidated buildings or shall I rather say, ruins of buildings. And almost every one of the ruins has a story and history behind it, dating back to hundreds and thousands of years ago.
Places in Rome, Italy I would love to visit:
The Pantheon
The Pantheon, one of Rome's top tourist attractions, is located in Piazza della Rotunda, in the heart of the Centro Storico. It is a building which was originally built as a temple to all the gods of Ancient Rome. Since the 7th century, it has been used as a Christian Church.
The Pantheon is currently the oldest standing domed structure in Rome.
A picture says a thousand words...
Breath- taking!

On to the next stop,
Sistine Chapel
Located in the southwest corner of the old medieval part of the Apostolic Palace, in the very heart of the Vatican. Frescoes were used to cover the upper walls which depicts episodes from the lives of Moses and Christ. The ceiling vault was painted dark blue, and covered with gold stars.
The artistic collage of drawings was painted by non other than Michelangelo!

The iconic image of the Hand of God giving life to Adam.
Take a look closely, and you'll realize the pictures and drawings actually tell a story..Amazing isn't it?! (Below image)

One more...
Trevi Fountain
One of the most famous and spectacular fountain in the city, and hence, one of the cities most popular tourist attractions. The Trevi Fountain derives its name from its position at the intersection of three roads (tre vie).
During the day...
When the sun goes down... It gets even more gorgeousss!!!

Lurrrvvve it!
The sea god Neptune in a chariot in the form of a shell dominates the centre of the fountain. The chariot is pulled by two sea horses, with each sea horse being guided by a Triton.
According to legend, anyone who throws a coin into the water is guaranteed to return to the Eternal City of Rome.
The coin should be tossed over your shoulder while you are standing with your back to the fountain.___________________________________________________________________________________________________
So, there you go! One of my Dream Destinations, Rome! Im gonna be visiting some day! Hahahas.
The main criteria I used to get information was the relevancy of necessary information with excellent elaboration of details and history of the country and attractions.
The purpose and accuracy are also a few of the necessary criteria used to gage the site. The scope of the site, how detailed the information is comes under the 'Purpose' criteria.
Accuracy --> The information provided in the sites are based on facts and not opinions. This makes the site more reliable and useful.
Aite, I shall end it! Prison Break, here I come! :)
